Vertical Training Specialty
The ability to jump vertically is critical to most sports, so itâ??s worth spending time to improve it. This program covers several essential exercises for training your Vertical Jump, an eight-week program focusing on strength and technique to increase it.
Several qualities are important for a successful Vertical Jump. To have a good vertical, an athlete first has to have a foundation of strength. Power is the ability to exert force quickly, so the athlete needs to enhance his or her ability to exert force. The second quality is the ability to apply your strength quickly. In other words, being strong is good, but you also have to know how to use your strength. The third quality is good technique. This is a skill, meaning it must be practiced to be perfected.
Cost $185 per athlete
This is an 8 week vertical program June 6th- July 28th and will finish right before the girls Jr High or High School season
Max of 10 athletes per class
Vertical Training
14-15 year old girls and boys
Mondays and Thursdays from 4-5 pm
or
Tuesdays and Fridays from 9-10 am
16-18 year old girls and boys
Mondays and Thursdays from 5:00-6:00 pm
or
Tuesdays and Fridays from 10:30-11:30 am
